The case of the mysterious smell…
Our team received a call from a homeowner who reported a musty smell coming from underneath their sink. Upon arriving at the residence, our technician noticed that there was indeed a strong odor emanating from the area near the dishwasher. The first impression was that there may have been a leaky pipe or other moisture issue.
To diagnose the problem, we proceeded to inspect the area thoroughly. By carefully removing the panel at the base of the dishwasher and checking behind the unit, we discovered that there was a significant amount of mold growth on the walls and floor surrounding the dishwasher.
We then worked closely with the customer to develop a comprehensive plan to safely remove the mold and repair any damage that was caused. We took great care to ensure the safety of both our team and the customer by using specialized equipment and putting into place protocols that would prevent the spread of mold spores to other areas of the home.
Using advanced techniques and tools, we were able to effectively remediate the mold growth and restore the kitchen to its pre-mold condition. This involved removing and replacing damaged materials and thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the affected areas.
